The band recently performed a short concert of old favourites at a paty to celebrate retired member Jim Murray’s 90th birthday. Jim was originally a trumpet player but in his most recent time with Tayport, he played bass.

We took part in the Scottish Challenge Shield on 20th November and came third in the fourth section with our own choice test piece “Dimensions” by Peter Graham. A Good result considering the two higher placed bands had actually just been promoted to the third section!
