Carnegie Contest, Dunfermline, Saturday 24 May 2003 - for the first time in many years, Dysart Band took the stage at a Brass Band Contest! Due to shortage of registered players (although we had 19 on stage), we were able to play for adjudication only. Our programme which included the first movement of the Haslemere Suite (Graham), Pastorale (de Han), Eine Kleine Oompah Music (Woodfield) and March of the Cobblers (Siebert/Barratt) was well received by adjudicator Chris Wormald. As we were the first band on stage at 8.45am (!), the picture below shows some of our members relaxing in the bar area after their performance (with a long wait until opening time - just as well we all like tea!).
